Hive Fractional Partners

Our Story

The Hive Fractional Partners was created as an evolution of M Young Crook & Associates, shifting from a traditional consulting model to one that is more collaborative, intentional, and community-driven.

Founded by Michele Young Crook, The Hive was built to create a professional space where experienced women could amplify their work, showcase their expertise, and grow their visibility while maintaining their independence.

Unlike traditional firms, The Hive does not take a percentage of work secured by its consultants. Each woman within the collective operates independently, bringing her own expertise, leadership, and client relationships while contributing to a shared network grounded in collaboration, support, and mutual respect.

The vision behind The Hive was simple: create a space where highly skilled women could support one another rather than compete.

Every member of the collective has been personally selected by Michele based on their professionalism, integrity, and depth of experience. These are women she has worked alongside, trusted, and witnessed lead within their respective fields.

What connects The Hive is not ownership or hierarchy, but a shared commitment to helping organizations grow through structure, accountability, and meaningful leadership while also amplifying the work of the women within the collective.

At its core, The Hive Fractional Partners exists to create opportunity, visibility, collaboration, and impact through a network of independent women working together to strengthen each other and the organizations they support.

Our Approach

At The Hive Fractional Partners, our approach is grounded in structure, collaboration, and practical execution.

We believe organizations grow stronger when leadership is supported by experienced professionals who understand how to align strategy with operations, people, and accountability. Our work is not built around surface-level consulting or one-size-fits-all solutions. We step into organizations to understand how they function, identify where support is needed most, and help create the systems, clarity, and momentum required to move forward effectively.

As a collective of independent women consultants, we bring together diverse expertise across executive leadership, human resources, operations, finance, event management, communications, and growth strategy. While each consultant operates independently within their area of expertise, we share a common commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and meaningful impact.

Our model is intentionally different. We are not driven by competition within the collective. We amplify one another, support one another, and work together to strengthen both the organizations we serve and the women within The Hive.

Whether supporting a growing business, a not-for-profit organization, or a leadership team navigating transition, our focus remains the same:

Creating structure where it is missing, strengthening accountability, and helping organizations grow with greater clarity, stability, and purpose.
